Pain is an unpleasant and sometimes debilitating physical and emotional experience that, at one time or another, affects everyone. While most of us experience pain in association with an acute injury or medical problem, an unfortunate few go on to develop pain as a chronic condition. As a chronic condition, pain can be a very complex problem and its treatment often equally complicated. This complexity leads some to speak of the “battle” against pain.

I strive to win this battle against pain. I utilize my training at the world renowned Multi-disciplinary Pain Center of the University of Washington Medical Center as well as my nine years of experience as Director of Pain Management at Columbia - Presbyterian Medical Center.
